Looks like quite a nice raffle, with a custom made bamboo rod in the mix.

Good work day despite some really awful weather. Rainy, windy, and cool. The grounds are in much better shape, though there is still a good bit of work to be done on the southern half of the park. The northern half is starting to look pretty good.

One permit allowed them to grade and seed the large point to the west of the clubhouse along the river, the other put part of the stream back into a single channel. I heard lots of stories about the contractors that did a really great job. Boots on the ground (the rest of us), cleared some brush, seeded and spread straw over the seeded area, burned some wood piles, and then a number of folks feed us, kept us hydrated, and kept spirits up on a tough day.

A lot of dedication on a pretty miserable day. I ducked out after the work was done to get home to my hot shower where I sat for an inordinately long period of time. I'm sitting at home this morning a little sore and a bit poorer but happy to ache for and support a place I've created a ton of great memories at. Like all non-profits, they can use your help - be it time, money, things that can generate money, or a bit of all of the above.

...any idea when that Lamson Center Axis will come up?  It's something I'd love to try.

FN, I'm pretty sure it sold yesterday - I'm not sure for how much.

They have no items up right now but there may be a few things that make it there from the Saturday fundraiser. I'll try to post when they're offering something. State Council of TU and some chapters have also been posting reminders when they're asked to.

Thanks JGF...I'd missed that it'd only be offered at the work day.

I am certain someone more deserving than I m took it home.

It wasn't just offered at the workday - it's just that the auction closed on Sunday, I believe it was.

I never seriously considered it as I just don't need another 5 wt. I'm sure most of us are in that same boat...
