Comments: Finally got out for the first time this year on the Willow. Fished the Willow Race with my brother. Water level was lower than expected with all the recent rain. We got a late start due to car problems and I was surprised to find so many people fishing the Willow. I fished the Willow on several Saturdays last year and rarely bumped into anyone. With the heavy traffic I was not expecting a productive day and I was not disapointed. The highlight however was for my brother who was using a spinning rod. He managed to catch and release a very large bass. I more less worked out the kinks from a long winter with my fly rod. I had one large strike using a Wolly but I hit the panic button and lost it.
