Streamside Report

Willow Creek

Richland

3/21/99

Weather: 50 Sunny Very Windy
Water: Clear
Hatches: Midges
Time: 10A.M.-4:30P.M

. Comments: No significant hatches bringing fish to the surface yet. Nymphing with a large B.H. prince nymph has proven effective. Concentrate on the deep undercut banks. There are truly some monstrous fish in this stream. Be patient, the lower reaches of the Willow has alot of dead-fall, but serves as good protection for fish. It's been a beautiful spring so far, but I'm praying for cruddy weather this next week. Even cloud cover would be nice!
