Weather: Clear and warm upper 70's
Water: Cloudy , 60 and high (the dam is open in Wautaoma and pumping water from construction)

Comments: Went Fishing with Ray (my nephew) it was his first time fishing the Hex. I gave Ray some info on how to fish the Hex. Ray was working on his casting and getting his drift down when a nice 11" brown nailed his fly. If I'm not mistaken that was his fist fish on a fly rod and the biggest trout he had ever caught. I think he is having second thoughts about worm dunking. I did well that night, landing a bunch of nice fish in the 12 -15" range. Again the fish were keyed into the Spinners.
The Hex should be great the next week or so.
