Comments: Saturday 6/19, arrived about 7:00AM and immediately saw a 20"+ brown under the suspension bridge downstream of the bridge below CTH S at Avalanche. Fished most of the day with a bushy-tied Beadhead Pheasant Tail (#14), and abolutely slayed them (figuratively speaking, of course).
Evening spinner-fall saw success on dries (#14-16 Lt. Cahill) after it got well into dusk and the fish could no longer see the leader. Sunday morning from 6-9:00 went back to the nymph with similar results as Saturday's.
I had not been up to the West Fork in several years, and was impressed enough with the work being done by the West Fork Sportsmans Club to give them a donation and become a card-carrying member. The work they have done on the stretch below Avalanche is fantastic, and deserving support from everyone who fishes there.
