Comments: I had an opportunity to fish and camp in the West Fork of the Kickapoo area this last week. I camped in the park at Avalanche and until the Tue. rains muddied the water I did most of my fishing there also.

Most Browns were taken on dries. Either the Adams or R.Coachman in sizes #14,16,or18 were used. I had no fish exceeding 12" But several in the 6"-10" range. Fished Timber Coulee for the first time Wed. I've heard it referred to as a gem and it truely is. I finished off my trip fishing the Seas Branch of Kick. Wed. evening useing same flies as mentioned and had plenty of eager small browns come to them.
