Comments:Head to the Manitowoc River after work to see if there were any Kings in the rivers. We started at the dam in Clarks Mills and worked down river looking for fish. We got to Manitowoc Rapids before we seen any fish and then, we saw only three fish. We did stop and look at the Branch River and the water was low but clear there, but still were no fish.
We then headed for the Shoto to try are luck. We fish for about 2hours and had no strikes and seen only one fish:-(
A Friend of mine stoped at Kewaunee on 9/22 and told me that he had only seen a few fish in the wier.
It's still early for the King run IMHO. The run should be going good in a week or two.
