Comments: Fished the Waupaca River near the Bible camp from 8:00 to 11:30. Weather was beautiful. Hooked onto a sow in a deep hole near some fast water using a bead-head prince #16. He jumped and then shot down into a hole and lodged himself behind a log or rock. Ended up breaking him off after holding him there for 5 minutes or so. Exciting and good to know there are fish that size in Wisconsin rivers. Fishing was slow the rest of the morning. I saw 2 or 3 other fisherman out.
