Went fishing on the East and West Branches of the Twin River yesterday (March 22), Water levels were good, temp 32 degrees, and clarity was poor, (especially on the East Branch which was basically unfishable). Saw 6 fish caught on the West Branch, but had no luck myself. 5 of the 6 fish were very fresh, silver and bright. The runoff from the warm weather during the week should bring in many more. Even though I didn't catch anything it felt good to get out and fish again. I have to admit the 7 fish caught on the Root River 2 weeks ago were almost worth fighting the crowds!
Tight lines,
Scott
