Tomorrow River Fishing Report

August 22nd. 1996

Went out on the Middle Tommorrow tonite looking for more white wulffs. Very few flies hatched; there were a thousand times more on the lower. Water level was good, but a bit muddy from this mornings rain. However did see a few very large mayflies above the water just before dark. Must have been green drakes. For lack of a better pattern I tied on a #6 hex parachute. I then proceeded to catch my best brown yet this season on the Tommorrow, a very fat fish about 17" long. He looked great in my flashlight! I caught two more small fish and lost several others in the next 45 minutes, until a tree ate my only hex fly :0(...

Hope to get out again tommorrow nite. Plan on fishing the lower and hitting the wulff hatch again. I'll leave a report then.

p.s. Feel free to put my email address on the report. Maybe I can find other fishermen on the river! Thanks.
