Head for the Tomorrow rive friday after have dinner with the family. When I got to the river the water temp was lower that it was 2 weeks ago, it was 73 then.
When I got on the water there where White Millers (White Caddis fly "Nectopsyche(5)") every where and the trout were hitting them. I had made a White Millers pattern from the description on the WI Fly fishing page.

The pattern I used was:
It worked ok, but I thought the wing look to white compared to the real caddis.
Question: Dose anyone know of a recipe for a White Miller?
I try catch one so I could get a better look at it, but the little buggers are hard to catch! Anyone know of a good way to catch caddis flies?
About 8pm the Ephoron Leukon started to come off in great numbers. It was snowing in August! Put on a White Wolf and had some luck until dark. The spinners were over quickly I must have been on the upper part of the river where they were hatching.
Had a chance to fish on sunday morning 8/18 again I when on the tomorrow. I had very little action until 9am when things started to warm up. Then they were hitting hoppers pretty good. I had a good hour of fishing until I had to go at 10am wish I could have stayed longer.
I did get out late saturday night 8/17. I went to the white and got there at 8:30pm. It was getting dark, once on the water I did not see any hatches but did get a few fish to hit a white wolf. Nothing happend after dark but I'm still learning to fish in the dark.
Life is good, got to fish 3 days in a row!
