Comments: Hit the river around the cty A bridge and upstream. Fished for about an hour until I hooked into a nice brown (I'd guess about 16 inches) jumped him out of the water and when he landed I almost got a hook in my cheek! Hooked him again just as the rain hit, and man did it hit fast. got stuck in the mud and I literally fell right over the wind was so strong. Needless to say I lost him again. Started to head for the truck, but green skies and wind made me choose the brush on shore instead of fishing my way back. I even decided to stay under the bridge for a while until it started raining sideways. Made it out and found out there was a tornado that went through the Amherst area. Not a great fishing day but pretty exciting nonetheless.
