Tomorrow River

Fish tails..

Got to the river about 5:30pm and no fish were rising. So started with a stone fly nymph, and had a miss. Started to see Light Cahills at 6:30 and the fish started to rise. Caught 4 fish on a light cahill pattern. Seen a large spinner fall of BWO (I think they were BWO) they had egg sacks on them but were not sitting on the water yet. Seen some Sulphurs close to dark and some Brown drakes after dark (they sure do have long tails).

Did not see any Hex! Hope they start soon.

I did see a beaver swimming in the river, I thought it was a BIG muskrat but he took a branch and started to eat it, as he was eating he stuck his tail out of the water, no mistaking that big flat tail! Fly fishing is more that catching fish. See the wild life is great!
