Fishing Report

Location: Tomorrow River

Date: 3/27/97

Water level: back to normal, but still rising Water temp: 50 degrees
Air temp: 60's

Went fishing on the Tomorrow for a few hours in the afternoon. When we got to the river, there were a lot of black stoneflies above and on the water and the trout were leaping out of the water at them. By the time me and my partner got into the water at our entrance point, the rising fish had stopped feeding. My partner did manage to catch a 11" brown from a deep pool but that was the only fish caught. During the whole time fishing we did continue to see lots of stoneflies and we also saw a very light hatch of small blue winged olives. Spring is here!!!
