Comments: Ran out to the Tomorrow after work tonight. Only had 1 1/2 hours to fish, but I made the most of it. Fished the lower river at Keener Road. Started with a picket pin on a sinking tip first this time. Caught one very nice brookie within the first half dozen casts. Then managed to work up three browns as well. I had several other strikes, and lost the smallest and the largest fish of the night. The largest was a pig, wide bodied and full of fight. Of course it slipped the hook just after I saw how large it was!! The last fish was another small brown caught on a hares ear nymph as the sun went down. 5 fish in less than 2 hours during the early season -- not bad!!
