Comments: The night before the fishing excursion temperatures reached 38 degrees. This may account for the sparse trico hatch, and the lethargic behavior of the trout. I was able to entice a few trout on small hoppers later on, but even this was not very productive. There were very few fish feeding upon the tricos, and I am wondering if the hatch may be close to its end. Better luck next season, I think that this is the last trip I'll be making to Timber this year.
