Comments: Came over to Timber Coulee after a productive morning with hoppers on the West Fork of the Kickapoo. No real hopper activity seen this time of the afternoon. Some fish were rising to small flies.
Fished a size 14 Caddis as an indicator with a size 16 Pheasant Tail nymph on a dropper. Had only one hit on the dropper (that I knew of, that is) although I lost that one, but a number of strikes on the Caddis. Best one produced a 13" brown from under the bank lunker structure.
