Comments: Fished a tributary of Timber Coulee. A lot of #16 tan caddis buzzing around but not much surface activity because they really weren't landing on the water yet. There was however a fish here and there rising and I landed a few fish on a CDC and Elk and also on a Elk Hair Caddis. One fish from a favorite pool of mine was a 14 incher with some great color. One of the better fish I'd caught out of this particular stream. Headed back to camp before the caddis ever dropped to lay eggs which would likely have made for fantastic fishing but wanted to get a campfire going and enjoy the weather for the last night of the trip.
