Comments: Spent two days on the Timber Coulee. Started at 3:30pm the first day. Lost a real nice brown on a sparkle caddis emerger, and landed many browns on size 18 black X-caddis on the surface. Stopped fishing at 6:30. Started the next morning at 11:00, no surface activity. Some caddis hatching. Slow action using nymphs. About 12:00, surface activity started. Excellent dry fly action for 3 hours. Again landed numerous browns (again lost the best one) on the black X-caddis and on cdc bwo's. Action sporadic after 3:00.
