Steelhead Fishing Report

Sheboygan River: Kohler

April 4.1997

Weather: Clear bright Temp. 58 F
Water Conditions: Water still up but dropping and clearing
Hatches: none
Date: 4-4-97

Comments: In the last five days fishing has been getting better and better. Fishing pressure is moderate. Fair numbers of fish are being taken on spawn. Egg flies are working as well as leech patterns in black and purple. A good number of the fish caught were fresh bright fish. Looks to me like the run has really started. I hope the rain we are to get is light so the river can drop sligthly more.
