Rush River

Delorme :-)

6/11/97

Weather: 80s, mostly sunny
Water: 60
Hatches: sulfur?
Time: 1700-2200

Comments: Fished about one mile downstream from and a half-mile upstream from the Stonehammer Road bridge with a total of four anglers. Browns and brookies were finicky until about 8pm, when they started rising like mad. Pretty good production on #16 blue-winged olive, parachute sulfurs, and elk-hair caddis. Best luck was within 1/4 mile south of the bridge on the calmer sections. We spotted some pretty big browns, but they weren't hungry--probably a little spooked. Good luck!
