Weather: 50-60 windy
Water: clear
Hatches: ?
Time: 5:15-9:30am
Comments: I arrived at the stream at 5:00am and there was already two cars parked there. I decided to take the short cut to fish my honey hole in case one of the other anglers was fishing the hole. Arrived at the hole and started fishing at 5:15 through lots of baits in there(worms, flys, raps) and didn't catch a fish. Kept on moving down stream and the activity started to pick up and I caught 10 trout in the 12-16 inch range.(released all of them.) I arrived at the other bridge at 9:30 and there was nine cars there. Eight Minnesota vechiles. I decided to go to other popular areas and see how people were fishing the Rush. I counted 35 vechiles and only 6 were from Wisconsin. I don't like to see so many people wadding around in the water trying to drift your fly in the right spot. You mud up the river and end up spooking the trout for others. Is it that difficult to fish from the bank?
