Comments: I fished at a new spot on the Rush today. I normally fish down on 72 but today i decided to try by ________. Sorry I can't tell, hope you understand. Anyway, I was fishing at first with a beadhead Prince #16 but had no luck. Then, I moved up by some riffle and next to a big rock sticking out of the water was what i thought to be a fairley nice fish. I switched to and Adam's #16, cast,BANG, missed cast again, BANG, missed again, after a couple more casts, BANG, GOT HIM!! I faught him for a while and got him in, it was a nice 14" brown. Kept casting around in that spot and got a really small one too. I walked upstream to the next nice pool where i saw a few feeding fish. I only caught one nice one that kept refusing the fly, then, after a short prayer, he smacked it. He was also around 15". Had a few more hits right there but didn't get em'. Moved farther up to a riffle where a bunch of fish where "tailing". I caught me first Rainbow ever which was about 14" , the! n every cast for the next 15 min had a hit. I caught about five fish out of there. Moved even farther up to the next pool topped off by a riffle. I was casting to fish rising in the pool but then spotted the feeding frenzy going on up in the riffle. Moved up there and caught about 7-8 fish all between 14-17". The last fish i caught there was the biggest one of my life at about 17". WOW what a day!!!! Good luck trying to find that spot. That is now one of my new favorite places of all.
