Comments: Despite it being an extremely ugly March day, I decided to stop at a favorite hole on the Rush on the way home from work. Keeping my feet legally wet at all times,I got down onto the river. Once out of the wind and driving sleet, it wasn't to bad. The fishing was great! I used a #14 black bead-head hare's ear with a peacock green krystal flash wing case. Most of the fish were smallish rainbows, but I did hook some fairly nice browns, including one honest "15. There was some surface activity, but I really couldn't tell what they were after because of the snow. I then swung through Martell and hooked some browns under the middle bridge until I lost my tippet. I thought about tieing another one, but my finger tips were getting pretty numb at this point. This, along with watching a young boy ride his bicycle down the middle of the river, were enough to send me home.
