Comments: Gave the Root a shot for 4 hours, tied into nothing but suckers on leaches and wooly buggers. Swithed to egg patterns with big Hex droppers, which did the trick. Nailed 5 in 1 and 1/2 hours, all on the hex's. Nice fishing, except that the hordes aren't much on streamside manners.
