Went fishing on sat. March 1. Hammered the steelhead. Out of 5 of us we hooked 29 and landed 10. They were pretty fresh fish. The water was high but had good clarity. They were hitting on black flies and yarn. The fish went from 6-ll pounds.
Fishing was pretty amazing for being so early. These next couple of weeks should be good because of the water level. As long as the river stays high it will draw in more fish. The best fishing was upstream of the weir.
