Hatches
Brown Drakes started Friday! Grey Drakes still present. Sulphurs were above the riffles in surprisingly large numbers through Friday, but should be gone by now. March Browns are also present but totally overwhelmed by the Brown Drakes. Several stones were seen but not caught.
Trout TalesHeineman Bridge is producing the most action, mainly Brookies. There have been reports of several 20" + Browns being taken, but if the Prairie produced all of the 20"+ Browns that you hear about, it would be the best trout stream in the country :-)
We are receiving a heavy rain and it is supposed to continue through tomorrow. That would make the Prairie to high to fish...keep in touch.
