Comments: Fished a new spot on the Prairie Tonight that my brother-in-law showed me. (New water is always interesting). Chalk one up for a learning experience - It took me about 20 minutes to figure out what the fish were taking. Mayflies and caddis were hatching and I was under the assumption that the fish were taking the emergers. It turned out that they were picking the mayfly duns off of the water. To add to the fun this was my brother-in-laws 4th time flyfishing. After getting him into a few fish, I think he has become a fly fishing convert. We ended up catching 10 fish between the two of us with the largest being a 13-1/2" brown.
