Weather: Sunny, warm
Water-Conditions: Fairly clear and normal height.
Hatches: Ephemerella subvaria
Time: 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
Comments: Downstream from Echo Lake Road parking area a decent hatch of Hendricks took place peaking from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. with stragglers continuing to hatch until past 4:00 p.m. Surface feeding started about 2:30 p.m. and there were still a few rises near 5:00p.m.. Before hatch and after, caught brook trout on dun soft hackle. During hatch Hendrickson, Adams and stillborn dun took brook trout. Didn't catch any browns. A few blue winged olives, fewer paraleptophebia and small stone flies were hatching, but I could not detect any surface feeding on them.
