Streamside Report

Namekagon

May 10, 1997

Weather: Sunny 70 deg
Water-Conditions: Clear, 55 deg
Hatches: Size 14-16 white winged caddis
Time: 1pm

Comments: Spent most of Saturday fishing the Namekagan just south of Seely off Larsen Road. Only caught two fish both on a pheastant tail.

A real good caddis hatch occured and despite the numerous insects saw only a half dozen rising fish this would lead me to believe that there just aren't many fish in the River.

Can anyone offer a report as to the fish population on this most beautiful river. Please send me an email.
