Comments: Ahhh, spring is here! The Namekagon north of Hayward is doing just fine, according to the folks back home. I haven't been home in a few weeks and I plan to post a real report as soon as I get some fishing time. When I last fished the river. I caught a few small wild browns. They were in great shape. I got them on a 1/16 oz. lead head and a orange 2" Mr. Twister. Plus I caught a bounus walleye about 16 inches. I'm stuck in MN in college for another week or so then I'm coming back to work on the opener on May 1st. It will be a great season. Don't forget to read about the new regs on the Namekagon. Please get your Wisconsin License EARLY! They have a new system and it's a pain. Bring your drivers licenses and your social security number.
