Comments: Fished Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning on Mt. Vernon Creek. Just about surrendered to the tall, wet grass.
Wed evening, caught two browns on scuds. Another fly fisher I saw caught 13. I saw him catch 4 of those. Saw a couple of large may flies drifting on the stream. Very few rising fish. No obvious insect activity.
Thursday morning, caught two more browns on scuds. Clear sunny day. I looked for the little shade I could find. One of them had been rising back under the weeds.
