Comments: I Had a chance to get out and enjoy the nice weather we've been experiencing lately. Mt. Vernon Creek has been fishing good with some excellent early season hatches of BWO's and Midges. The BWO(#18) hatch began about 11:00 and then peetered off at about 1:p.m. Fishing with midges produced consistent action all day. Later in the afternoon when things began to die down a bit I swithched to a small grey scud with some success. It's been nice fishing dries this early in the season!
