Hatches: Mottled gray caddis with olive body
Time: 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Comments: Bright, sunny day on the Mecan at Dakota. Caddis were hatching upon my arrival at 11:30 AM. Mostly small fish were rising. Over two hours the hatch continued. Most of the fish were 6 to 9 inches in length. I did catch 3 in the 12 to 13 inch range.
