Comments: Fished the Heins in Door County this weekend, had numerous steelhead on and landed 5. Using numerous egg patterns, the smaller the better, and spawn. This stream proved to be a great challenge, with ultra clear water and fallen pines every few feet. It took the first day to really get a feeling for this stream, and the larger fish really new how to take advantage of their environment. As usual, there were a large number of people with no common sense attempting to 'fish' while only really annoying the fish and me.
