Weather: Snowy an 36 with light wind

Hatches: sporadic size 20 black midges
Time: afternoon
Comments: Got to the bridge on M at 10:30 AM. Caught a 9 1/2 on my third cast on a muddler minnow. Fished up mainly on the corners and landed two more abouth the same size. My partner caught a healthy 14 1/2 (his only) under the bridge on a big spey-hackled steelhead fly. I think he may be on to something. The river is high but not too high to fish. Still reasonably clear.
