I'm the last guy to ask about nymphs...but I had a thought on the Woolly buggers:  FnF Creeper...it's not a feather wrapped around the shank, but in my head, I thought it'd work.

...curiosity getting the better of me, I dug up a package of strung marabou, a bugger-ish hook, and a color of FnF Creeper that was close to the color of the marabou.  Pinch barb, put hook in vise...less than two minutes later I was done.

It'll work...and probably work pretty well.

Lots of easy color combos come to mind...

sizes too...that one is big, but trout-sized would be easy.

They make a UV Olive that rocks.

The latest:  Black/blue with a chartreuse tail to mimic the Senkos that were working with conventional gear.

Top to bottom: Weightless, front weight, hidden center weight.
