FLY TYING PRODUCT REVIEW

The best $50 I've spent on tying this past year has been on new scissors; specifically the RENOMED brand.

I've nursed along some 30+ year old tungsten carbide surgical models & they have been more than great, but it was time...

Saw a pop-up on Face Book, & tried the impossible foreign language website. Complained on my status page, & Mike Hogue responded that he stocked them & he considered them to be excellent. Obviously I HAD to order them.

The ($130 back then), German made ophthalmic scissors are still OK & still usable, but the new Polish made tying model has very fine serrations on one blade, & the tips are not only fine, but also very thin. I can snip a single barb or hair & not leave stubs behind.

If tying is important, then treat yourself. Call or email Mike Hogue at Badger Creek Fly Tying http://eflytyer.com/

DISCLAIMER: I don't sell scissors & I am not associated with Badger Creek, except as a friend.
