Rainbow Trout
Mar 5th, 2015 at 1:44pm

I accidentally bought one of these thinking it was a cod from my local grocer.  It stunk, literally and taste wise.

I ended up trying to bread it and fry it in some garlic oil, but it fell apart, and the pieces for some reason kept trying to roll over and sully a cutthroat trout-painted warming plate I had on the other end of the counter.  I ended up having to destroy the warming plate, and using a very strong ammonia based cleaner to wipe down the counter to kill any remnant traces of the rainbow fillet, and will need to start my entire cutthroat warming plate over as a result.  Suffice it to say, I am NOT very happy with my accidental haul.

I rate rainbow trout -109 Walgreen's Brand Chap Aids, award them no points, and ask that God has mercy on their souls.

Perhaps said grocer actually sold you his cod-piece?

Odd, the Dragon rates them the highest of all trout, which reminds me, I need to get a few Dragon Kibbles.

In terms of most invasive and harmful to native cutts, they are indeed top of the list.
