Kenosha Area shops, not big box...
Jan 6th, 2010 at 11:03am

Hey all

Looking for fly shops (or fly friendly shops) in or near Kenosha. Nothing comes up google except Bass Pro, Cabelas (which I don't mind too much). I see there was once a place in town, but looks to be defunct now. Any help appreciated!

Closest shop would be the one I work at The FLy Fishers on Greenfield Ave. in milwaukee.   www.theflyfishers.com

Since you're basically in a north Chicago suburb, you can always head south a bit and hit One More Cast fly shop in Countryside, IL.

went to The Fly Fishers this past weekend - totally worth it. Really good info as far as WI gear, etc. Definitely will go back!

As far as hitting Countryside, IL - I avoid Chicago with great pleasure nowadays after 30+ yrs of living in and around it.
The time it would take me to get to that shop, I might as well go to Madison. Tongue

I will make note of it if I do ever find myself in the area tho. Looks to be a great shop!
