Here's the deal.......I filled out a raffle form at the troutlilly booth.......my ex-friend Phil took it upon himself to actually photograph my backside to document the transaction ( see earlier in this thread). There were promises made on the sign in sheet and knowing that this is a respectable firm I was just following up.

The Peruvian place in Madison served up a very lightly breaded filet of fish with a section of crab leg, some mussels, and some squid on top with a sauce that was juuuuust hot enough. No sweating and no extra salting needed. The burn was more like just a glow that saw me out into the moonlit night and back on the road.

Were you at Inka Heritage?  I like that place, it's just down the block from my house.  I had no idea that I was recently a stone's throw away from WFF.com luminaries dining on their delicious dishes.   The last time I was there I had the trout (forgive me please for such crude behavior, I am originally from Iowa after all  Wink)  It was very good.

Inka Heritage ... indeed!  While returning home from the Chicago Great Waters show, Sarah and John were planning a quick Interstate truckstop meal of fried pork chop shingles, overcooked canned green beans, french fries smothered in bacon gravy, and lime jello.  I suggested instead a more leisurely meal in Madison of Peruvian fare  ...  Pisco Sours, Seafood Ceviche, Pescado a 'lo Macho, and Lomo Saltado.  Sure was delicious.  I even learned during the meal that John has visited Chile!  The luminaries headed for the Interstate with smiles on their faces, and I headed home a few blocks away.    --Phil

I just found out that I am not going to be able to make it.  My apologies.   Sad
