Streamside Report

Black Earth

Dane

Sept 29

Weather: Windy, light rain
Water: clear
Hatches: psudocleon
Time: 9am-12pm

Comments: Fished Black Earth for the last time this year. The creek has been good to me lately. Got a 24 inch brown a few days ago, but I'm not gonna tell you where or with what fly. This morning I got 15-16 fish in the 8-13 inch range. Most were caught by hanging an unweighted pheasant tail 2 feet behind a scud, with most fish taking the PT.

Great way to end a wonderful season on my home creek. I'd also like to thank all of the other fisherman who shared the water with me this year. You were all great. Hope we can all do it again next year after the long, fishless winter.

Thanks
