Comments: I fished mostly in shallow riffles, catching a total of 12 small trout on Caddis immitations. I also observed one rainbow in a weedy shallow that was feeding subsuface. There were no significant hatches, though there a few of all types of bugs. I know everyone is anxious for the hex hatch, but I only saw one all day. It was promptly nailed by a red-winged black bird. I have seen nothing to indicate thtat the hatches are running early this year.
Please respect other fishers on the stream -- don't jump in front of someone that was on the stream first.
