Comments: Fishing on B.E. Creek has been better than I expected for the first week of the season. If you can forget the fact that you can't feel your fingers some might say it was even enjoyable.
The secret to B.E this time of year is in finding the fish. This isn't May afterall. Once the fish are found however the action can be very good. On most days I was hooking into 15 to 20 fish in just a couple of hours. There are many patterns that one can use but there are a few local favorites that out perform all others. Now you just have to find a local and ask him whats working.
