Comments: Went down to Black Earth Creek on Sunday for the first outing of the year. The winds made casting nearly impossible and prevented any decent hatches from coming off. I saw a few baetis here and there in the very shallow parts.
Fished orange and pink scuds for a couple of hours with only one small brown to show for it. Still, it was wonderful to be out on the water again. Remember, your worst day of fishing is still better then you best day of working.
