Streamside Report

Black Earth Creek

Dane

3/21/98

Weather: Sunny 40Deg Windy
Water: Fairly clear
Hatches: None.
Time: 9:00 to 2:00

Comments: Started out in Cross Plains using a scud and caught some small browns with the biggest one being 10 inches. Moved farther downstream and started using a muskrat fur fly of my own tying. It was really an ugly fly but I caught 3 fiesty rainbows 8 to 10 inches long. It was a great day to be out!
