Comments: Fished Black Earth all day today. Started with 17 inch brown on my own scud pattern on my 5th cast downstream of SV road. 2 small browns after that and it was time to move to the horseshoe. 2 more small ones indicator nymphing at the horseshoe. Then me and my buddy/boss phil miller went downstream of black earth. Watched Phil land a 15 inch brown on 3rd drift right under the bridge. Went downstream and caught 7 browns from 12-16 inches from one pool. Great way to open the season. Found new spot on my favorite creek.
