Streamside Report

Big and Little Green

Grant

6/23/98

Weather: sunny, mid 80's
Water: very stained
Hatches: none noted
Time: 8:30 - 3:30

Comments: Caught several nice browns last Tuesday and today, the largest was 18". We used bead head caddis emergers #14, olive bead head wooly buggers and flash back scuds # 14 with a red fox belly fur blended with antron body. The secret seemed to be to fish the deep holes deep with something that was visible in the stained water. The grass and weeds are getting quite tall in places. As usual, the comoflage of the day was black and also black and white. GOOD LUCK!
