Comments: The fish weren't as active as I was hoping. I started with a hares ear and hooked two small browns, landing one. I switched to a serendipity and caught two browns, both around 15 inches. Caught a few more small fish in a couple of the shallower runs. I found the nice pool I remembered from last summer and hooked and landed a brown that probably went 16. On the next cast I hooked into a rainbow somewhere in the 20-22 inch range but he shook the hook loose after a few minutes of battling with my four weight. All of the big fish I took or hooked came from depths of more than three feet.
