Comments: Was in Lancaster for my second turkey permit and decided to make it a "blast and cast" trip by fishing the Big Green after hunting in the morning. Spring creeks are not my specialty, but I still had a good time. I fished the category 5 water near CTH T. Took one very fussy 15" brown on a #20 griffith's gnat. Managed to drag one more 15" out of a pool on a hare's ear. Finished the day with a small (10") on a #16 sulphur. Hatches were very sparse and few fish were rising. Still can't' get used to crawling along the bank and fishing off my knees to catch these fish!! The Big Green is a beatufiul river, and I spotted some fish that will definetly make me go back.

p.s. Tried to fish Castle Rock Creek on Saturday morning but is very muddy and unfishable due to last nights t-storms.
